Statuette, Rana - 3.5 cm - .925 silver

Rare handmade frog-shaped miniature intended to be cast in 925 silver, finely worked and hand-decorated with polychrome enamels. The back is adorned with a brilliant green glaze with yellow and black circular motifs, which naturalistically echo the animal’s coat. The eyes, embossed and dark glossy, give great expressiveness to the piece. The style recalls Buccellati.

The workmanship is meticulous, with well-defined three-dimensional modeling on both the front and the back. On the underside there are legible stamps, including “925” (sterling silver) and the maker’s mark guaranteeing quality.
