A fine and characterful Chinese lead-glazed terracotta figure (Mingqi) dating from the Ming Dynasty. This statue depicts a standing court attendant or dignitary, modeled with great attention to the traditional attire of the period.Iconography: The figure is shown standing atop a high hexagonal pedestal base.
