Thorvald Marthinsen - Candlestick 433 (2) - .830 silver

Pair of elegant candlesticks in solid 830 grade silver, made by Thorvald Marthinsen Sølvvaretabrikk of Tønsberg, Norway. Striking hourglass/baluster stem rising from a cushion-shaped square base, with matching gadroon (ribbed) borders on both the base rim and the nozzle drip-tray. Both pieces carry Swedish import hallmarks.
