Description :
Exceptional solid silver covered sugar bowl, evidencing the know-how of the high Parisian goldsmithing of the late 19th century. This piece bears the prestigious signature DEBAIN (master punch inscribed in 1883).

The object features a Napoléon III style decor with wide, bombé gadroons of great fineness. It rests on a stable base composed of four rocaille feet curled at leafy clasps.

Material: Solid silver certified by the Minerva punch (950/1000).
Goldsmith: Alphonse DEBAIN, with the master punch and within a lozenge.
