Auction listing of a fascinating and rare Duplex Super 120 Stereo, produced by Industria Scientifica Ottica (ISO) in Milan around the mid-1950s.
The Duplex Super 120 is a camera designed for stereoscopic photography (3D), capable of capturing images in pairs that, viewed with appropriate viewers, render the three-dimensional effect.

Unlike many stereo cameras on 35mm film, this model uses 120 film with vertical advancement, allowing the paired images to be recorded directly on the frame—a elegant and innovative technical solution for the era.

Equipped with two synchronized lenses and a common focusing system, it represents an excellent example of Italian photographic engineering of the postwar period, with distinctive design and high-quality construction.
