Colon figure - Chokwe - DR Congo

Image of (perhaps) a male figure with recognizable Western features. It seems as if he has his hands in the pockets of his trousers. The hairstyle is typically Western; in the crown of the head there is a shallow cavity carved out. Both in the hair and across the body there are traces of greenish dye visible. A hollow cavity is made on the left side. Small damages.
The face gives the impression of a portrait.
The whole has an intriguing appearance. Nice patina. On a simple pedestal.
