Antique heavily ornate Jambiya dagger in beautiful condition.
The Jambiya is the Arabic term for a dagger, but is used to describe this type of dagger with a short curved blade and is used in various Arab countries and India, especially Yemen and the Horn of Africa.
The sheath is covered on both sides with relief decorations; the wooden grip is shaped like a gunpowder flask and also beautifully decorated. Total length is 42 centimeters in a straight line and it weighs almost 400 grams.
