Calcite druse from Loralai district, Belucistan, Pakistan; weight 3 kg, dimensions 17 × 17.5 × 10 cm.
Description from the seller
Beautiful calcite formation from the Loralai region in Balochistan, Pakistan, with a very interesting and uncommon structure.
The specimen features crystallization on both sides. A central layer of matrix separates two surfaces completely covered with crystals.
This characteristic makes it fascinating both aesthetically and for collectors.
The crystals, well developed and dense, show a scalenohedral shape typical of calcite, with pointed terminations and a compact growth that gives movement to the whole.
The color is a uniform milky white, with slight transparencies that emerge mainly under direct light, enhancing the internal structure of the crystals.
On the lower side a slightly darker shade is noticeable due to the matrix and natural inclusions, creating a pleasant color contrast with the lighter upper part.
A solid and well-presented piece, interesting for its double crystallization and its striking presence.
