Hors d'oeuvre set - .950 silver

Set of cutlery for serving hors d'oeuvres or mignardises or even candies and a butter knife with handles in 950‰ silver, with the minerve hallmark and a gilded tip and steel blade for the butter knife, made in France during the second half of the 19th century, circa 1890.

Louis XVI style decor with moldings featuring acanthus leaves and laurel branches; there is also a motif of musical love, a torch and a flute tied by a ribbon to an acanthus leaf.
Finely hand-engraved.

Sold in its original box with a silk interior and silk velvet lining.
