Description from the seller

Silvered metal bread basket from the Gallia collection of the famous silversmith house Christofle.
Style Art Nouveau
Floral motif typical of the Belle Époque, often identified as apple blossom flowers with winding stems forming the pierced handles.
The "Gallia" hallmark is accompanied by a rooster as well as a model number (4631).
Around 1900 - 1915.
The "Orfèvrerie Gallia" line was launched by Christofle at the very end of the 19th century.

Second-hand items are not new and may show some signs of age, normal signs of use. After 100 years this piece shows a few scratches and tarnish under the basket at the four corners (base) due to rubbing.
Please kindly look at ALL the photos as they are an integral part of the description.
