British Coins Auction (100th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s Birth)

Magnificent bullion coin of one troy ounce of pure gold 99.99% (9999), issued in 1986 by the Royal Canadian Mint. The coin features the famous maple leaf on the reverse with the inscription “FINE GOLD 1 OZ OR PUR” and the purity “9999” on each side. The obverse bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin, with the inscription “ELIZABETH II – 50 DOLLARS – 1986”.

The coin is kept in its original mint-sealed plastic packaging. A few light superficial contact marks are visible through the packaging, as is often the case with bullion coins from this era.
