It is inlaid with gemstones such as turquoise and coral.

Dit object is een Tibetaanse rituele schelphoorn (Shankha), vaak gebruikt in het boeddhisme. 
De hoorn is handgemaakt van een natuurlijke schelp en versierd met metaal ( zilver of witmetaal). 
 Het is ingelegd met edelstenen zoals turkoois en koraal. 
 In het boeddhisme symboliseert de schelp het verspreiden van de leer en het wekken van de massa uit onwetendheid.
