Description from the seller
Lot consisting of two samples from Morocco, different from each other but pleasant to observe together.
A) Hematoid quartz
A very natural specimen, with crystals in reddish-brown tones due to the presence of iron oxides. The central part is the most harmonious, with good crystallization and shiny surfaces, while the other side appears rougher, with diffuse oxides that make the surface irregular and very natural.
Along the edges of the specimen there are some breaks and missing crystals.
Overall it is a simple but agreeable piece, with an authentic look.
B) Aragonite
A specimen with a compact and dynamic growth, formed by many small structures that develop in close proximity. The overall effect is soft and intricate, with brown tones alternating with lighter areas that give light and depth to the piece. It is a pleasant specimen, also well suited as a decorative element.
An balanced lot, with two very different types to each other.
