Vintage LEGO Collection – Technic, Classic Space & Legoland (1970s-80s)
A unique opportunity to acquire a nostalgic time capsule of original LEGO from the late 1970s and early 1980s.
This collection features a mix of high-end Technic, the iconic Classic Space theme, and vintage Legoland sets in original suitcase and sorting tray, Manuals included.
LEGO Technic 8846 Tow Truck (1982)
The centerpiece of this auction is the classic Technic 8846 Tow Truck. This set is in very good condition and comes with the original box, which remains in great shape, the original building instructions, and the internal plastic sorting tray.
Please note, while the model appears complete and includes specialized gears and wheels, I cannot 100% guarantee that every single tiny piece is present, though it has been kept well-preserved.
The Collection Includes
Classic Space: Several original manuals for iconic sets such as 894 Mobile Ground Tracking Station, 897 Mobile Rocket Launcher, and 886 Space Buggy.
Vintage Legoland & Town: A wide variety of manuals for classic sets including 644 Police Car, 661 Spirit of St. Louis, 604 Shell Car, and 674 Forklift.
Early Technical Sets: Includes the rare manual for set 75 Mobile Crane from the 1970s. This manual is missing some pages.
Includes early LEGO family figures (Set 200) and various minifigures.
Storage & Condition:
Original LEGO Suitcase: The collection is housed in a very well-preserved vintage red LEGO carry case. The exterior is clean, and the handle and locks are fully functional. It contains the blue compartment divider, which is in excellent condition.
Included is the original red LEGO sorting box with its handle intact.
The bricks and manuals show normal signs of age-appropriate wear but have been kept in a dry, smoke-free environment.
Important Note:
While the Technic 8846 is assumed to be complete, I cannot guarantee that all parts for the other sets listed in the manuals are present in the sorting bins. You are bidding on the collection as shown in the photos.
Will be packed with extreme care to ensure the original boxes and manuals are protected during transit.
