Description from the seller
Olympus Camedia C-7070 Wide Zoom
Equivalent 35 mm (Telephoto) 110 millimetres
Equivalent 35 mm (wide) 27
Battery type: Lithium ion
Memory card format: XD - Picture Card
Sensor resolution: 7.1
Type: Compact
The rugged 7.1-megapixel Olympus Camedia C-7070 wide zoom with metal body features a 4x wide-angle optical zoom lens, from f/2.8 to f/4.8, from 5.7 to 22.8 mm (27 to 110 mm, 35 mm equivalent). This allows photographers to capture more than one indoor scene in a single shot. And outdoors, everything from skyscrapers to landscapes fits comfortably in the frame.
The C-7070 offers enthusiasts some professional features, including the ability to capture RAW and TIFF images and three types of slow-sync flash settings that ensure both the subject and the background are exposed correctly. Many hobbyist cameras have slow-sync for the front and rear curtains, but the C-7070 also adds a very appreciated slow-sync for red-eye reduction. The era of the camera also offers two underwater modes (both requiring a separate underwater housing), a CompactFlash and xD-Picture Card support slot, and several histogram settings that advanced photographers will appreciate.
The 1.8-inch LCD is small but certainly bright enough and keeps a smooth and accurate image during panning. However, the screen is unusually articulated: you can orient the LCD to view it at the back of the camera or flip the screen so that it sits above the optical viewfinder. This vertically swiveling screen is a welcome variant you need to get used to, especially if you’re accustomed to working with hinge-lid DSLRs. Now that you get used to it, it becomes very convenient in various situations such as tabletop work.
Despite the slowness of some functions, such as startup, the camera ultimately lends itself perfectly to landscape photography as well as portrait photography. The macro modes are also very convenient. The preset scenes are calibrated optimally for the best result.
I have always considered it the most beautiful in the Camedia series that Olympus made.
It is a private sale with the “sold as seen” rule.
Photos are an integral part of the description.
It will be carefully packed and shipped via courier.
