Description from the seller

Elegant large decorative wall tapestry (190×152) in the style of 18th-century French Aubusson and Gobelin works. The tapestry presents a detailed pastoral landscape with figures, dogs, and representations of nature in harmonious composition. The scene reflects the idealized aristocratic country life and is typical of the Louis XV / Louis XVI style.

The wall tapestry was woven using traditional Jacquard weaving techniques and convinces with its finely tuned color palette of soft greens, blues, beiges, and reds. The depiction is fully woven (no print), with good detail reproduction and a uniform texture.

Features:

Type: Gobelin / wall tapestry
Style: Louis XV / Louis XVI, Rococo
Motif: pastoral landscape with figures and hunting scene
Production: Jacquard-woven
Origin: Europe (likely France or Belgium)
Era: mid to second half of the 20th century (c. 1950–1960)
Condition: good used condition with patina from aging
