Table lamp - Spelter

This is most likely a lamp made of silvered metal or pewter, with a shape strongly inspired by the Liberty / Art Nouveau style, visible especially in the base: the lines are soft, fluid, almost vegetal, with motifs reminiscent of leaves and natural scrolls. The stem also presents a certain slender elegance, with smooth transitions between the various sections.

The central part, instead, introduces a more geometric and decorative element: the widened body is divided into panels with stylized and almost symbolic motifs, which vaguely recall influences of Neo-Gothic or Orientalist styles, very fashionable between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This mix of styles is quite typical of decorative objects produced between 1890 and 1920.
