Claudio Salocchi was an Italian architect, industrial designer and interior designer. His modern and functional approach to design and architecture is often enriched by the use of contemporary art. In 1965 he founded his design studio and in 1967 he formalized a fruitful collaboration with Sormani, for whom he later, in 1971, designed this Appogio stool. The sculpturally formed stool has a black lacquered metal frame and a vermilion-red seat. The stool is height-adjustable. Pickup in Antwerp, Belgium.
