Victorian desktop/desk calendar cabinet made in England in the second half of the 19th century
Walnut burl with very beautiful, raised, glossy figuring and no cracks. There are scratches on the exterior.
The internal calendar is complete with all days of the week, the numbers of the month, and the names of the months, all original.
It opens and closes perfectly without forcing thanks to its original key.
It is a unique piece, handcrafted with great care for the details.
Every part of it is original.
