Description from the seller
Beautiful and refined nineteenth-century work table with mirror, made of fine walnut burl, dating to around 1830–1860 and attributable to the Louis-Philippe style. Authentic antique furniture, it seamlessly combines elegance and practicality typical of domestic life in the 19th century, with a fold-down top featuring the original inner mirror and compartments organized for handwork or small objects, as well as a convenient front drawer with a lock. The turned legs with a crossbar give solidity and harmony to the proportions. The table is presented in overall excellent condition, well preserved, with its original patina that enhances its charm without invasive interventions; interiors and mirror are original, a feature increasingly rare. Ideal as a piece of furniture for study, living room, or bedroom, it represents an authentic, functional object rich in history.
