AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Table clock with a portico, not functioning.
Characteristic columnar structure that supports the body of the clock and that features, at the top, a figure of a rooster. The design is linked to the Empire style or Napoleon III, drawing on classical architectural forms such as temples and Doric columns. It is made of patinated metal (bronze or spelter) or brass, with a round dial featuring Roman numerals (without glass). It has a small pendulum that hangs below the central case, typical of mechanical movements from the late 19th century or the early 20th century.
Similar pieces have been identified as productions from the early 20th century (circa 1900–1920). Probably a French manufacture, given the inscriptions "Sonnerie" and "Mouvement" impressed on the back of the case near the winding keys. The producer’s symbol, also incised on the back of the case, consists of an upward-pointing "Arrow" placed between the letters E and D (the latter not entirely clear); it can be found on the Internet but has not been attributed.
