Crystal butter dish on a silver mount – Netherlands, ca. 1880
An elegant crystal butter dish dating from around 1880 and from the Netherlands, fitted with a solid silver mount ( .833 ). This piece combines refined glasswork with precious metal and reflects the rich table culture of the late 19th century.
The dish is made of clear crystal and features beautifully cut motifs, with geometric patterns lighting up the surface in a lively way. The silver mount frames the glass in a stylish manner and provides a sturdy and luxurious finish.
