Description from the seller

Very rare autumn-colored terrine, a blend of a brown gradient, in superb condition.
Terrine made by one of our greatest master potters; no signature, but attributed to Michel Caugant, known well beyond our borders.
In Michel CAUGANT's numerous creations, we find many specimens living in the natural environment, such as ducks, roe deer, deer, pheasant, bison, etc., but also this superb shell which is the scallop (Saint-Jacques) much rarer, with magnificent colors and extreme purity.
This object is truly ideal to start a collection or to complete one.
Approximately 17 cm in width, length, and 7 cm in height.
