Antique Ensemble of Copper & Brass Objects - Ottoman/Russian Style - Samovar, Mangal & Accessories - circa 1900
A very decorative and authentic collection of four antique copper and brass objects, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
The set consists of:
A Traditional Samovar: Red-copper kettle with a brass spout, equipped with an elegant cloverleaf key. Suitable for charcoal burning (internal chimney present). Equipped with wooden handles.
A Large Mangal (Charcoal Burner): A beautifully wrought object with serrated edges and a perforated lid. Resting on a wide tray base, with finely cast handles.
A Unique Petroleum Tea Warmer: A combination of an oil lamp mechanism with an upper reservoir teapot to keep drinks warm.
A Hand-engraved Vase/Hookah Base: Featuring refined floral motifs in repoussé technique.
Details & Condition:
Material: Red copper (copper), yellow copper (brass), wood.
Period: Circa 1880 - 1910.
Condition: In original, unpolished state with a beautiful patina. Signs of use appropriate to age, including some dents and oxidation spots.
