Wall decoration - Germany

This tapestry shows an expressive, abstract landscape with a central sun in intense color gradients from yellow to orange to deep red. Below, dark areas form stylized mountains and a reflective water surface, creating strong visual depth.

The dense, high-pile surface gives the rug a sculptural, vibrant texture and underscores the characteristic style of decorative wall textiles from the 60s–80s.

The back is cleanly finished with a textile backing and a surrounding edge. Additionally, a wooden strip is integrated, allowing the rug to be easily mounted directly on the wall with pins or small fasteners.

The condition is good, with slight age-related wear in the pile, but overall very decorative and striking as a wall object.
