Description from the seller

Very beautiful document signed by Eusèbe Renaudot (1646-1720), French clergyman, scholar and orientalist, famous for his works on the liturgies of the East and the history of the Church. A member of the French Academy, he was also an influential figure in the intellectual world under Louis XIV.

Receipt in which he is presented as "Eusèbe Renaudot, counsellor to the king's historiographer, heir of the late Sir Eusèbe Renaudot, his living father, counsellor to the king in his council, chief physician to Monseigneur the Dauphin".

Very good condition.
