Description from the seller
Charming pair of two antique enameled coffee pots, each with a unique hand-painted decoration that reflects the craftsmanship of a bygone era.
The large cream-white pot features an atmospheric hand-painted winter landscape with a farm under snow, bare trees, and a walker in the foreground, in the style of the Dutch and Belgian earthenware and enamel tradition from the early twentieth century. The pot has an elegant tapering shape with a ribbed handle and a metal knob on the lid.
The smaller dark-green pot is adorned with a lush hand-painted floral motif in orange, yellow, and white on a deep green background, characteristic of French enamelware tradition. This type of floral decoration was common in the thirties.
Both pots are in used but good condition, with patina matching their age. A decorative and nostalgic duo for lovers of vintage kitchenware or brocante interior.
Material: enameled metal, hand-painted
Condition: used, good condition
Period: circa 1900-1930
Quantity: 2 pieces, sold as a lot
