A high-quality scientific precision instrument for determining the specific density of liquids according to the Mohr-Westphal principle (unequal-arm balance, based on hydrostatic buoyancy / Archimedes’ principle). Used in pharmacies, breweries, university laboratories, and chemical workshops.

– Original wooden case with stamped manufacturer and serial number brand stamp “G. WESTPHAL CELLE / 5285"
– Brass column with height-adjustable mechanism on a weighted base
– Rotating brass beam with engraved scale (1–10), stamped “G. WESTPHAL CELLE"
