Stamp organizer case, wooden structure covered with sterling silver. The lid is decorated with guilloché enamel.

Guilloché enamel is highly prized among collectors of antique silver for the technical difficulty involved and its great visual beauty.

The decorative seal is a silver reproduction of a classic postage stamp: given the date (1861) and the profile design, it is a stamp of Queen Isabella II of Spain. And the stamp is the 1861 Cuartos Four, one of the most common of the era and an icon of Spanish philately.

Made in Barcelona by FARCO silversmiths, probably in the mid-20th century (1950s–1970s)

El esmalte guilloché es muy apreciado en el coleccionismo de plata antigua por la dificultad técnica que conlleva y su gran belleza visual.

El sello decorativo de la es una reproducción en plata de un sello de correos clásico: Por la fecha (1861) y el diseño del perfil, se trata de un sello de la Reina Isabel II de España. Y el sello es el de Cuatro Cuartos de 1861, uno de los más comunes de la época y un icono de la filatelia española.

Fabricado en Barcelona por FARCO orfebres, probablemente a mediados del siglo XX (años 50-70)
