Offered at auction, an elegant Portuguese solid silver plate from the nineteenth century, beautifully decorated with a combination of incised motifs and relief floral ornaments. The design features radiating petal-shaped segments, each engraved with a stylized foliate pattern, framed by roses and buds finely modeled along the outer edge.

This type of craftsmanship is characteristic of Portuguese silversmithing of the nineteenth century, known for its rich ornamental details and the harmonious balance between engraving and relief work.

The plate has a slightly concave center, making it suitable both as a decorative piece and as a small serving plate.
