Description from the seller

A superb chancay antropomorphic effigy vessel with robust egg-shaped body and elongated neck. Human features and markings indicating tattooing or face paint. Ceremonial pointed hairdress and earspools. Cream colored background with dark linear designs. Small arms holding flute or ocarina up to mouth. Small handle on the back.


Condition: Small restoration and material loss on the neck ( see pictures) otherwise good condition.

Provenance: French Auction house. Formerly french private collection.

Notes: The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece is in process of obtaining the Spanish Export License ( Passport for the European Union ). This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks. If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will be processed by the seller and a 5% export fee must be paid by the buyer. This process could take between 2 and 4 weeks. Shipped with insurance.
