An elegant, highly original French Pirouett desk lamp designed by Jean Chavanis in Lyon in 1929, characteristic of the French industrial Art Deco style.
This lamp bears the inscription "PIROUETT FRANCE" in relief on the base.
The metal frame is characterized by clean lines. The adjustable arm makes it possible to set the lamp's height and direction, yielding precise illumination that is ideal for a desk or worktable.
The base is weighted with cast iron, which provides excellent stability.

Elegante zeer originele Franse Pirouett bureaulamp ontworpen door Jean Chavanis in Lyon in 1929, kenmerkend voor de Franse industriële Art Deco-stijl.
Deze lamp draagt de inscriptie "PIROUETT FRANCE" in reliëf op de voet.
