Mint condition, unused since purchase. This set has never been operated on a layout and has only just been test run for this listing to confirm full operational status. It has been stored long term by a private collector as a collection piece. Complete with all original inner and outer packaging and the detailed operating manual. No longer in current production and increasingly hard to find in this condition.

This special construction train set features a video camera car that lets you experience your layout from the train’s perspective. The built-in miniature camera and wireless sender transmit a live image while the train is running, powered by a separate battery car so the system works independently of whether the layout is conventional AC, Delta, or Digital. Sends video in PAL format to any TV.

The set is ideal both as a collectible and as a unique operating feature on a working layout. 49941 is an upgraded set to 49940 in that it includes an extra boxcar as a battery container wagon.
