Vanessa Mitrani - Lamp - SKYLINE - Glass, Metal

This lamp is a prototype by designer Vanessa Mitrani. This model has never been produced commercially; only a very small number of these lamps exist.
It is emblematic of her work on the constraint of glass, blown into a metallic structure, and carried by a blend of materials.
Here, the transparency, the roundness, and the fragility of the glass form a contrast with the strict and regular weave of the metal mesh.
The glass is mouth-blown inside the steel structure, from which it bursts forth and from which its form is born.
A warm, minimalist lamp that brings elegance and personality.

Vanessa Mitrani is distributed worldwide by prestigious retailers such as Roche Bobois, Lane Crawford, Bergdorf Goodman, or Cassina.
Some of her creations are part of the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
The pieces are made in close collaboration with artisans and are assembled in her Pantin workshop near Paris, where she designs all of her collections.
