"Antoni Gaudí i Cornet ( 25 June 1852 – Barcelona, 10 June 1926) was a Catalan architect. He designed around 1900 distinctive buildings and objects, mainly in Barcelona, of which the Sagrada Família is the best known.
He is regarded as a founder of organic architecture. His work falls under art nouveau/Jugendstil. In Catalonia this style is the Catalan Modernisme.
