Description from the seller

Exceptional 83-piece Table Service - Winterling Bavaria (1960s/70s) - Fine Translucent Porcelain - Design "Rouge Feu & Ombre"

Magnificent and very complete table and coffee service for 12 people, produced by the prestigious German manufactory Winterling Marktleuthen (Bavaria). This service is a centerpiece of Mid-Century Modern design (late 1960s - early 1970s). It stands out for its bold geometric pattern "Rouge Feu" with an elegant gradient toward Bordeaux edges (Ombre effect) on white porcelain with exceptional glaze brilliance.

Porcelain Quality (Translucency):
This is fine high-quality porcelain. As shown in the photos, the pieces display a beautiful translucency when exposed to light, revealing the fineness and purity of the Bavarian ceramic body.

Detailed composition (83 pieces in total – excluding lids):

Plates (47 pieces):
- 12 Large flat plates (crystal white)
- 12 Soup/Salad bowls (Rouge motif)
- 23 Dessert/entrée plates (Rouge motif – exceptional and rare quantity)

Coffee Service (27 pieces):
- 12 Elegant coffee cups
- 12 Matching saucers
- 1 Large royal coffee pot
- 1 Small additional coffee/pot milk jug
- 1 Sugar bowl (with lid)

Prestige Serving Pieces (9 pieces):
White: 1 Very large oval platter, 2 Medium/small oval platters, 1 Large round platter.
Red: 1 Large deep serving bowl, 1 Matching porcelain soup ladle (extremely rare collectible piece), 2 Round service platters, 1 Large tureen with its lid.

Condition:
The set is in excellent vintage condition. The glaze shine is perfectly preserved.
Note: Of the 83 pieces, only 3 plates have very light edge flakes (barely noticeable). The remaining 80 pieces are in impeccable condition.

Provenance & History:
This service comes from a private collection near Colmar (Alsace). Carefully preserved by its original owner as a family heirloom, it testifies to the refinement of tableware arts from the late 20th century.

Shipping:
Ultra-secure professional packaging. Given the size of the lot and its fragility, the shipment will be made in multiple reinforced parcels to ensure delivery in perfect condition.
