Pair of Lacquered Nightstands Hand-Painted in Louis XV Style
Elegant pair of Italian lacquered nightstands finely hand-painted, realized in Louis XV style and attributable to the first half of the 20th century. The furniture features a delicate lacquer in pastel green tones with gold profiles and details that enhance the wavy and sinuous lines typical of the Rococo taste.
The front is characterized by a top drawer decorated with hand-painted floral motifs and enhanced by a shaped metal handle, while the lower part consists of a door also painted with a central floral reserve enclosed by shaped frames. The interior, finished in natural wood, offers a practical storage space.
The sides are decorated with additional painted panels with floral bouquets, framed by gold motifs. The curved, scroll-like legs, combined with the lower shaped band and gilded carvings, give dynamism and elegance to the whole.
