Description from the seller
Hereby I offer a beautiful set CDM 1 Rosewood in very neat condition, with revised tweeters. Visually 97% as you can see in the photos. But technically they are 100%. I even fitted the tweeters with new ferrofluid because the old fluid thickened and there was hardly any high frequencies audible. That is a precision task. I do this gladly because this type of speaker is worth it and certainly this set as well. I enjoy it every time. But the result is overwhelming. I make sure that all, truly all, of the old thickened ferrofluid is removed and not, as described on the internet, with painter’s tape (haha). They sound reborn. See photos. They have consecutive serial numbers. See also the drawings on the cabinets. Truly a very beautiful neat honest set that, thanks to the revised tweeters, will guarantee many years of listening pleasure again. They can also be bi-wired. Each time I test them I end up enjoying the full, warm, and still very detailed sound longer than intended. Now again. The effort was not in vain. I wish you the same listening pleasure.
The original B&W CDM-1 received extremely enthusiastic praise at the introduction. They are still highly sought after and certainly do not fall short of modern speakers. And they can still go for years. Especially this set.
