This is a decorative ceramic teapot with a traditional Chinese dragon motif and calligraphic characters on the lid. Incidentally, both the lid and the teapot are marked.

The piece is made of dark earthenware, intended to imitate the appearance of Yixing zisha clay, and decorated with slip or paint.

Excellent condition with no damage whatsoever.

Dit is een decoratieve keramische theepot met een traditioneel Chinees drakenmotief en kalligrafische tekens op het deksel. Overigens is zowel deksel als theepot gemerkt.

Het stuk is vervaardigd van donker aardewerk, bedoeld om het uiterlijk van Yixing zisha-klei na te bootsen, en versierd met slib of verf.

Uistekende staat geen enkel beschadigingen.
