Jardinière - Bronze - Napoleon III style

Impressive and large Napoleon III-style bronze jardinière and centerpiece, from France, dating to the mid-20th century.

This piece rests on four sturdy cabriole-style legs, richly adorned, elevating the piece and giving it an imposing presence on any surface.

The base features exceptional relief work with gadroons, garlands, and rocaille cartouches that catch and refract light in a distinctive way.

One of its most distinctive features is its spectacular side handles. They showcase an intricate openwork filigree design with vegetal motifs, flowers and tendrils that rise gracefully, offering a light contrast to the solid body of the piece.

Inside the center you can find the wooden receptacle and the bronze plate.

It is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use that give it a special and unique patina.
