This lamp is a prototype by designer Vanessa Mitrani. This model has never been edited. there are only very few copies of this lamp.
It is emblematic of her work on the constraint of glass, blown inside a metal structure, and carried by a blend of materials.
Here, the transparency, the roundness and the fragility of the glass form a contrast with the strict and regular lattice of the metal mesh.
The glass is mouth-blown inside the steel structure, from which it bursts forth and from which its shape is born.

Vanessa Mitrani is distributed worldwide by prestigious retailers such as Roche Bobois, Lane Crawford, Bergdorff Goodman or Cassina.
Some of her creations are part of the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
The elements are made in close collaboration with artisans, and are assembled in her Pantin workshop, near Paris where she designs all her collections.
