Description from the seller

Ostensoir in 950‰ silver, partially vermeil, of radiating form, topped with a cross and adorned with clouds, sheaves of wheat and grapevines symbolizing the Eucharist.

The quadripod foot in silvered bronze features a finely engraved decoration and a Paschal Lamb in relief on the base. Original opening lunette glass.

French workmanship from the first half of the 19th century, stamped with the head of Michelangelo, 1st title and large guarantee of Paris (1819–1838).

Very fine quality of execution with a sober and powerful decoration typical of the Restoration.

Good overall condition with light signs of use and small discreet deformations to the rays.
