Pair of antique solid-brass turned candlesticks, dating from the late 19th century or the very early 20th century, in the style of English Georgian productions and the French Empire style.
These candlesticks charm with their harmonious proportions and impressive decorative presence, with a substantial height of 23 cm, well above typical models. Their refined silhouette rests on a square pyramidal base of 8.7 x 8.7 cm, offering stability and elegance.
The fluted baluster shaft and the broad upper boss recall the grand reception models used in bourgeois homes and master houses of the Belle Époque.
The solid brass presents a beautiful warm antique patina with light signs of use and micro-scratches testifying to their authenticity.
