The 8-channel DSP-based PLENA Matrix mixer PLM‑8M8 was designed to provide the highest levels of flexibility and reliability. It is the heart and soul of the PLENA matrix system. When used in conjunction with the PLM‑8CS call consoles, the PLM‑WCP wall control panels and the PLM‑4Px2x amplifiers, it suits most applications that require up to 8 zones of voice and high-fidelity ambient music (BGM).

The audio quality is suitable for live music, ambient music, speeches in demanding environments and zone-based announcements. Some common applications include: shopping centers, schools, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, cafés, gyms, recreation spaces, churches, warehouses, office buildings, regional airports, railway stations, bus terminals, boardrooms, meeting rooms, conference facilities, small theme parks, museums, backstage at performing arts centers and sports stadiums.
