Vajra - 20th century

A finely carved rock crystal vajra / dorje, likely Chinese or Himalayan, 20th century.

The piece is carved from translucent rock crystal, with a double-ended ritual form and detailed openwork decoration. The central grip is decorated with carved bands, leading to stylised prongs at both ends. The crystal is with natural inclusions.

A decorative and collectible piece, suitable for collectors of Asian works of art, Buddhist ritual objects, or carved hardstone items.
