Description from the seller
Offered: A Kodak Rainbow Hawk-Eye Vest Pocket camera in red/pink color. The camera is in a “good and complete condition” and is a charming example of early 20th century photographic technology.
The red/pink combination is also a special color variant from the series. Cameras with these specific colors come onto the market from time to time and remain highly sought after by collectors. The camera dates from the late 1920s and combines an elegant art-deco design with a striking color scheme. The camera is a real head-turner and a chance that doesn’t come along very often — perfect for the discerning camera or art-deco collector.
Condition:
Very nicely preserved with signs of use/age, appropriate for a piece over 100 years old. The camera shows the classic style and craftsmanship of that era. The color is exceptionally bright and uniform, certainly given the age. The shutter works on the two available speeds T and I (1/50). Aperture adjustable in 4 settings.
A nice collectible object or decorative piece with character that fits perfectly for photography enthusiasts, collectors of vintage cameras, or anyone with an appreciation for historical gadgets.
