Beautiful and well-preserved mantel clock from the renowned Dutch clockmaker Warmink (WUBA).
This model is a textbook example of Dutch craftsmanship from the second half of the 20th century. The clock is housed in a stylish, warm-toned wooden case (likely walnut or root walnut) and is richly decorated with brass ornaments, including detailed corner pieces and a classic handle at the top.
Key features:
Dial: Silvered numeric ring with black Roman numerals, surrounded by brass decorations.
Moon phase: At the top sits a beautifully illustrated, functioning moon phase indicator (with starry sky and ships).
Movement: High-quality 8-day mechanical movement with double strike (strikes on the hour and half-hour).
Accessories: The original winding key is included. The original instruction booklet is present.
Condition: The clock is in neat, used condition. The case has a nice gloss and the brass shows an authentic patina appropriate for its age.
