Neck rest - Wood

Neck support in the form of a small chair. It is clearly an old specimen from the early part of the last century, or perhaps even earlier. The object is decorated with symbolic decorations. For example, the notched corner may be an element of the so-called 'mma gwa' or woman's seat. This chair (in this case neck support) is given by the husband to his wife at the wedding. Wear and signs of use are thus plausible indicators of its age.
