Kodak No. 2 Folding Film Pack Hawk-Eye – ca. 1916–1922 – Eastman Kodak, Rochester NY, USA
Very fine and authentic early Kodak folding camera from the pioneers of amateur photography. This concerns an original Kodak No. 2 Folding Film Pack Hawk-Eye, produced by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York, presumably between 1916 and 1922.
This camera represents the transition from heavy glass plate cameras to portable cameras for consumers and is thus a nice historical example of early mobile photography.
