- Inscriptions: Obverse: bust left of Sun Yat-sen, surrounded by a legend in Chinese characters indicating the Republic of China and the year of issue. Reverse: central character 布 with value marks 20 Cents, flanked by Chinese characters, all within a Greek-key style geometric border.

Nickel alloy coin belonging to the late-1930s Chinese Republican series. The obverse features a realist, sober portrait of Sun Yat-sen, with good facial modeling and firm relief, characteristic of the political iconography of the Republican period. The reverse shows a geometric design with strong symbolic character, with the value expressed by traditional characters and a well-defined decorative border. A specimen with notable original lustre, clean fields and uniform pale patina, with slight surface marks corresponding to the grade, offering a balanced and attractive visual presence.
